Best recruiter out there! I am so relieved to know I am working with someone like that. My goals, my expectations, my deal breakers, etc. Occasionally she is a little slow to respond to emails if its the weekend, but I can't blame her too much for that! Great pay and benefits! Such a fun way to start a new position, and she was so knowledgeable for me going into a new position, I feel extremely comfortable with her! Overall I have really enjoyed my experience with Axis Medical Staffing. Axis has been a great first company for me, as Im a new traveler. I started traveling in the middle of my recruiter planning her wedding and she still stayed on top of my start and made sure I had everything I needed. They answer all of my questions promptly and the pay is great. Shes very responsive. Other travelers have told me their recruiters have a team and they get bounced around to a million people. I love this company & you will too! You wont be disappointed. Always able to contact and get contacted-back. Ive hung up my travel shoes for the time being but referred many friends to her and any travelers that hit my floor I try to send her way. Axis found me a job in the midst of a pandemic and closer to home than Ive ever been before. Charity is an absolutely wonderful recruiter to work with and Id be happy to work with her again!

She was able to find a contract right away in the area I was looking to travel to. Is very reliable and trustworthy. She stays on top of future contracts with knowing exactly what will catch my interest, and never gives up on trying to find me the perfect job match. It's been a pleasure to work with this agency and Veronica Schoo. Wonderful experience round 2 after eating terrible first travel nurse experience I cant wait to get back to Axis. This included me taking my first assignment and needing help after I was already working.

I'm honestly blessed to have the opportunity to work with a great recruiter who has genuinely gone the extra mile. My recruiter is available 24/7 and always goes the extra mile to make sure I have what I need to make my assignement perfect. She was patient and explained everything to me. Positive review from a travel med surge nurse! Insurance is always hit or miss, 401K available, contracts are there and weekly pay is common. My recruiter and compliance liaison are amazing! Insurance is expensive if you have a family but otherwise great company that I recommend. That hasnt seemed to be the case at Axis. Highly recommend working with this recruiter and company!

When my process did start, she was with me every step of the way. Ive never had any problems while on assignment that she wasnt right there to see it through to the end. Made the transition into travel nursing easier.
She is fantastic, always goes to bat for me, has found me perfect contracts, and continues to be a friend as well as a wonderful recruiter! Alisha kept looking until she was able to find an assignment that was perfect for me. They are just looking to place you so they can get paid. One problem I encountered with some recruiters of other agencies was that they were forceful. So far so good with Lynna and Lauren! If they give this much support once I begin wow!
Its been great working with her and I will definitely continue to work with her in the future! Again, no one fights harder for us than ourselves but I appreciate her efforts. This is my first Travel Nursing assignment, and as confusing as some aspects have been, stumbling through several agencies who were not being entirely honest, and definitely were not looking out for my best interests, I was a little disheartened. At times, it takes a little longer to get an answer when you ask work related questions, but you would appreciate the wait because she always returns with accurate information. It's a super easy set up and way less paper work than any other agency when coming on.

Versus some of the other big companies I feel like I'm just another nurse they're trying to place with their best interests in mind. Nicole ZIELASKO has been AWESOME, nice, always keeps in touch w me to see how I'm doing. My recruiter, Veronica Schoo has been very helpful and encouraging! Payroll is always on time and accurate. Veronica Schoo listened to my needs and met all expectations. Its clear from working with Axis that they put travelers first. She has done amazing advocating on my behalf, and i feel that she really heard me and what it is that I said I was looking for in my first assignment.

What I love about Axis Medical Staffing is they never tried to hide anything from me; everything was out in the open from my pay package, contracts be suited for me, and honest answers to my many questions. As a CCL nurse, Im used to pushy recruiters who will say anything to get me to sign and who dont take no for an answer. They dont always have housing in every area available, but my recruiter helped me search for mine when I was struggling to find something! Alisha Patrice is the recruiter, I would not recommend her to anyone. When I was applying to travel nursing agencies I applied to quite a few, and spoke to many different recruiters. To say this agency cares about their nurses is an understatement. She communicates well and makes herself available at all hours. Should be known beforehand that insurance isnt day 1. She was also patient with me since we talked in December, but I couldnt start traveling until January. With travel you dont it but about 4-5 people are involved to get you from point A to B. Theres the hospital which includes your manager, some HR person and maybe a scheduler, their third party agency who handles the contract itself and works with your agency for compliance and then your agency. My recruiter Veronica Schoo is amazing. I really can call or text him at anytime and he will respond. She either doesn't respond to me or takes days to get back to me with simple questions. Lynna is amazing to work with. Trust me.

If shes not available ask them for her email so you can reach her. They have a good selection for benefits as well. She knows I work nights so she works around my schedule when contacting me! I often use words like amazing, awesome, great.. but Lynna has been far more than superior. Lynna my recruiter took all my information the first phone call. She was very quick to resolve any issues that arose during the pre-employment testing and it was much smoother of a transition.
This is one of the better agencies I have worked with. She is so thoughtful and always willing to go the extra mile. Very supportive in finding the right fit. Axis is a great company. Points off for housing because the stipend was no longer guaranteed during the last two weeks of the contract and we did not get paid for those hours. Cant ask for more. I've been trying to work with my recruiter, Lynna, for almost a year.
