We honestly felt like we were taking pictu Where do I even begin to explain how fantastic Heather is. So far shes done our engagement shoot and our first wedding (very small wedding due to covid), and she will be shooting our big postponed wedding next year as well! Heathers personality brightened the day and I am so grateful that she was able to capture our start to forever! Not only did Heather and her assistant Adrienne handle the day with grace and ease, but they made our bridal party and family so comfortable. We had so much fun with her up until the very end of the night. Two days after the wedding, everything with Coronavirus escalated. Thank You for everything Heather! My family is *very* outspoken and direct, my husband's family is more relaxed and low key. Very sweet and open. She was so sweet to work with and once the party started you didnt even realize she was there taking photos. After sampling another photographer for our engagement photos and feeling extremely underwhelmed by the experience, photographer, and photos, I was worried that what I was looking for just didnt exist within our location and price range. (Next to saying YES).
I had heard from other brides that they preferred to have 2 photographers because they can capture more angles/moments but I never felt like Heather missed anything. I would 100% pick heather again and would highly recommend her!!!!!!! A month before the wedding, we met in person to finalize the course of action for the big day- what photos we wanted, where we wanted them, how we would organize bigger group photos without taking away from precious dance floor time, etc. And, at the end of the night, she even offered to stay and do a nighttime shoot, which included some of my favorite pictures. and Facebook group, I wished that I had known about her when I got married. From the first time we spoke on the phone, I knew she was going to be a good choice. I can not recommend Heather enough! We opted to do a First Look photo shoot at two different places before the ceremony with not a significant amount of time for them, but that was no issue for Heather. Not to mention, she is so very talented! Heather is an unbelievable artist and her photographs are absolutely magical. The photos we received were so gorgeous and exactly how we wanted them to come out. I knew I wanted a photographer that did mostly candid shots that were not commercial feeling. She was on time, flexible and adjusted schedules and locations accommodating our day. She gives every single person direction from relaxing their eyebrows down to point the toe. We understand how hard this must all be for wedding vendors so we really really appreciated how graciously Heather dealt with the situation. Safe to say my day was significantly less stressful and many crises were averted thanks to Heather and her team. When I first saw the sneak previews (the day after might I add!) Her style, her editing, and her eye came together in the most beautiful way with these photos and I'll treasure them forever.
