The bar scene in Milan is defined by aperitivo (happy hour) culture; its a tradition that exists throughout Italy, but Milan takes it way beyond the norm. The club is about as underground as it gets, an industrial warehouse-style room with dark walls and pulsing lights. When we asked a third bouncer in another queue, he said that men were being allowed in, so again that first bouncer was just lying. Between the hours of 5pm and 8pm most any day of the week (Mondays are hit and miss), youll be offered anything from a small plate to a sumptuous buffet, along with popular concoctions like the omnipresent Aperol Spritz. Bello. Everything was just perfect, we were celebrating a friend's birthday. Lots of pushing and shoving to get in at the front. The atmosphere is buzzing but not pretentious, the drinks are excellent and the dcor adheres to true vintage-hipster style with optical patterns and NY prints. Crowded and chaotic, sporting crystal chandeliers, neon signs and disco balls, the music varies on any given night, from house and electronic to 80s and 90s favourites. Despite the very intimate atmosphere with the performers, I found the prices were too high for the service. Its typically frequented by 25 to 40 year olds and there is a strict door policy; its often reserved for regulars clients, and invited guests.
Theres a long bar with stools available, a rarity in Milan, which makes for great people-watching (or meeting) if you can tear your eyes away from the wild dcor. In some places, "servizi" will have been added to your bill so be sure to check before tipping. We had made reservations via WhatsApp with a promoter, but it turns out this guarantees nothing and to top it off we were told that only the girls could enter (3 girls, 2 guys). The space weighs in with 3000-square feet of elegant and modern dcor that has been packed with locals and visitors every weekend since it opened. The place also does breakfast and lunch along with a Sunday-only brunch that runs from 12-4pm. Theres an outdoor terrace for sweltering summer evenings, and after 11:30pm the music ramps up when Milans fashion crowd come out to play. Toilet features regular events, parties and themed nights, all set to a variety of electronic and house tunes. Not far from the Duomo, Apophis Club is both a cocktail bar and nightclub spinning hip-hop, electronic and house music by a range of international DJs from Thursday to Saturday. Great guys, thank goodness it's near my house. We sit down and ask what it could offer us. Even with me yelling (in both Italian and English) that we werent leaving, they were collecting full bottles and sodas to liberate the table, literally as if I didnt exist!!! We drove all the way here for the good reviews and I can tell you don't trust these reviews.The place is a fake, they try so hard to make you believe it's 80's fun and the whole experience but it's more like I try to take your money because you are in Milan with bad sound system and expensive drinks. May I comment your staff service is very bad I place an order I raise my hand 4-5 times they see but they ignore me I pay the same entrance fee as everyone else and why doesn't it serve me like everyone else or because I don't dress like everyone else? One of the best audio system in Milan, the distribution of the sound is great and also the quality. Be prepared to wait a bit for your drink however, as the kind of fancy mixology practiced here takes time to prepare. Dozens of house specialties are available here, usually with esoteric descriptions that make it hard to know exactly what you might end up with (although the main spirits involved are usually made clear).
Aperitivo hour typically runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Had a lot of fun at this place! This bar is about as Milan Fashion Week as it gets, but it can be fun as theres always a lively atmosphere. Club was cool though - DJ played good music and there were lots of interesting people around.
Didnt really experience the club vibe because I only went there for a drink. From bars to discos to divey pubs, locals take their partying seriously. small cozy shop with excellent espresso.
Ps: I've changed my review to 2 stars, since there were indeed positive aspects to the place. The club has opened in September 2016, but has already become the place to be in the nightlife scene for (mainly local) fashionistas, cool people, trendy youth and people who want to see and be seen.
Youll be greeted by the sounds of bongos and out-of-tune guitars. Overall good place to go out on a saturday - little bit small but didnt ruin the experience. The bar doesnt accept reservations, so come early to grab a poolside couch for aperitivo. It's such an over priced place and I do recommend to avoid eating here.
Discos, some of which don't even open until 11 p.m., stay open until the very wee hours. Throughout the year it hosts concerts, debates, exhibitions and a wide variety of other cultural events. Art adorns the indoor space that manages to be both industrial and warm, with large windows that face one of the busy side streets just off the Duomos main piazza. Worth trying and food is decent and non expensive. While it's not expected, servers appreciate you leaving a few extra euros, and if you get exceptional service, you should definitely leave a tip. Their Sunday la carte brunch is also worth a mention. Lots of people without it being overcrowded, decent cocktails, a good mix of music you can dance to and friendly bartenders! But most people congregate around the bars six taps and the two coolers full of bottled craft Italian and European beers; crates on the opposite wall showcase bottles you can buy and take home. Rock n Roll Milano is a bar where you can enjoy evening drinks, and a restaurant offering reasonably priced dinners (the kitchen stays open until 2 am). Nightclub Magazzini Generali is founded in the year 1995 in the southern outskirts of Milan. Nice staff and atmosphere. Location +39 02 8883 8702, Fabulous canalside beerhouse where you can order from the many draft beer options by the liter. Expect a mixture of families, elderly locals, starlets and influencers. One star from me even if I never been there. If you decide to arrive later than that, entrance will cost you 20 if you're a man and I'm not sure if 10 or 15 (or maybe 20, I've havent had to pay a cover fee before) if you are a woman. With its buffet (included in the drink price) comprised of homemade chips, squares of focaccia, pizza, cubed cold cuts and pickled vegetables, Radetzky is proof of the undying appeal of 1980s Milan. Club is nice, we where there on a Saturday night in January. Sorry but it had to be said Youll become an expert on Milans beloved cathedral. Tipping in Italy is a mixed bag.

Beautiful venue, excellent drinks, great choice of champagnes and wines, beautiful girls all very chic; the prices are average although I can't say it's a place for everyone. Inside you will find dimly-lit tables and walls filled with frescoes (a few of which are originals) as well as a round bar toward the back tended by staff who are happy to teach you all about the buildings history. I was dressed as a woman, not to mention the disgusting faces they had, a guy touched my private parts, vulgarly emphasizing that they are male. After we were sent away we found to very friendly Italian girls. They do offer small aperitivo plates as well (mostly Thursday-Saturday), but its mostly all about the Campari.
So our friends lost 40 euros because they had to come out. Very good taste in music inside. The spot currently hosts national and international DJs with a program of one-night only. The answer was: "Um I don't know". It was horrible. Great music and people! If you want to "fare la notte" don't hesitate in visit it!! Converted from Milano Centrale railway station in 1995, this underground club has always been a landmark of Milanese culture. The place itself used to be a church and it is quite pretty inside. English, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, French, Japanese, Portuguese, Chinese. Thanks to a series of self-financed cultural activities, it has now become a permanent meeting place for art-loving locals and visitors. Barbara and Emiliano will give you a warm welcome.
The local and friendly atmosphere will do the rest: even if you come here alone, you will probably leave with new friends! Bar Brera sits right at the front door to the district, right at the corner of Via Brera and the Pinocoteca. So we left. Cocktails and happy hours are a Milanese institution.
As far as the DJ-set is concerned, there is room for improvement, because some pop music is boring; we are about to warm up, but after 2 hours even Beyonc's divine voice is tired. Prices a bit high, but since its uniqueness in Milan, it's worth! To avoid the long entrance lines, book an early table for the delicious aperitivo, and stay until youre ready to dance. Would still recommend.
