Measuring over 7,000 yards from the back tees, The River Club is considered one of the most challenging layouts in the area. For anyone reading this, we have been bombarded with rains these past few weeks. It's not Pebble Beach, but it's one of the better golf courses in this area. This exciting stretch at The River Club starts with the 16th hole, a 416-yard par 4 with water running up the left side of the fairway up to an island green. Favorite Island green 16th is special. Golfers hit the pinnacle of the round on The River Clubs signature par 4, 18th hole which bears a tight fairway and a well-protected green 364 yards from the tee box. I bought the course 3 years ago, have put in significant resources, and the crew has done an amazing job turning this course around. Course is in the best shape it has been in for years.
